Mobile Farmers Market; #DukeSpring: The Week at Duke in 60 Seconds

Thanks! Share it with your friends!

Welcome to the week at Duke in 60 seconds.

Duke religion professor Mark Goodacre is the lead advisor on season two of the CNN series “Finding Jesus: Fact, Faith, and Forgery.” The series premieres on Sunday, March 5 at 9 p.m. and runs for six weeks.

The Duke mobile farmers market begins in April. Employees can subscribe to receive a box full of locally grown produce, meat and seafood delivered weekly from April through September.

Did you know the Nasher Museum of Art gives tours specifically for visitors with Alzheimer’s disease and their families? The tours are offered monthly and are free of charge.

If you’re enjoying the beautiful springtime sights at Duke, be sure to share your pictures using #DukeSpring for a chance to be featured on Duke’s Instagram account and win a prize.

Finally, last weekend, Duke students played a real-life game of Battleship in a swimming pool on campus. Armed with buckets, players in canoes worked to sink each other’s “battleships.”
