Great recipe – very easy. I just ate 2 pieces of chicken breast made
exactly as you showed. I was surprised at how juicy and tender the chicken
came out given chicken breasts are not as tender and juicy, generally, as
drumstick meat.

How do you recommend I store the finished product? Refrigerator or freezer?
Will microwaving it make it lose any of its fresh-out-of-the-oven
tenderness and juiciness?

Cam B says:

Looks delicious and easy to make. I’m considering adding this recipe to my
diet but I’m curious to know how you got 8 servings with just 10 pieces of
baked garlic chicken? How many pieces do you eat a serving? And what’s the
nutritional facts for just two baked garlic chicken?

Cassie Priest says:

My fave food is chicken 🙂 my two fave recipes are honey, soy sauce and

Hands down the best bodybuilding chicken I have ever made and ate! I don’t
say this lightly.. I’m glad you made this video because honestly, I was
losing motivation to cook my chicken in the fridge, but now after making
and tasting….. I need to go to the store to get more. Thanks again for
the great video.

P.S. I have a gluten allergy and was able to substitute breadcrumbs with
gluten-free ones and the results were amazing. I even shared with my
neighbors, who do not have an allergy, and they loved it as well.

sowilo dawn says:

, I was making my weeks worth of chicken today, and only used half of my
chicken for your recipe, (and the other half for mine), because I wasn’t
sure if I would like it.
Wow! This is delicious, and wished I used ALL my chicken for this! It was
so moist, that at first I didn’t think it was cooked.
I was getting bored and tired of chicken, but this has me looking forward
to eating chicken again! Thanks Derek Howes , the Protien Chef!!

Theo Paine says:

I see u substituted dipping the chicken in egg batter for the olive
oil/garlic mixture. I have to try that. After reading Wheat Belly & going
wheat-free, I need an alternative for bread crumbs. I’m not feeling the
‘gluten-free’ labeled foods cuz of the liberal use of high starch flours
(e.g.potato, rice, tapioca, etc..). Thanks in advance for tips for low
starch alternatives for bread crumbs.

David Cox says:

A big thanks.. :)

efthimios says:

Thanks Derek for this great recipe I will try it when I cook my next batch
of chicken.
I have been baking my chicken by sprinkling on some seasoning, Frank’s hot
sauce, and some olive oil then covering it. It still tastes bland!
Hopefully the light breadcrumb step and rolling it in the olive oil makes
difference. Looking good too! Keep up great work
