I stopped taking a pre-workout a while back and for around two weeks after
it effected my performance in the gym. But as soon as I got used to not
taking one, my workouts are as good as ever! I think a lot of it is in your
mind. I’d like to see a study conducted to see how someone’s workout would
be effected with a placebo pre-work out
